What We Do

Our Programs

We bring emergent leaders with lived experience together into shared spaces to create learning opportunities and supportive networks. The Foundation believes it’s in coming together, creating communities, and sharing ideas and resources that community-based organizations can create the greatest social impact in order to improve outcomes for children and youth.

Collaborative Learning Initiative (CLI)

A one-year, intensive leadership and capacity-strengthening program for founders or leaders of early-stage community-based organizations working through education to improve outcomes for children and youth in East and Southern Africa. Through CLI, IFF partners with leaders and their organizations to broaden knowledge, skills, and networks, providing participants with the virtual and emotional space to bond and collaborate with like-valued changemakers in order to develop context-relevant solutions to challenges in their communities.
