Sandra serves as a Programs Associate at the Issroff Family Foundation, where she supports the day-to-day operations and strategic planning of the Collaborative Learning Initiative and other Africa-focused programs. Passionate about community-driven development, Sandra is committed to fostering systems change and championing homegrown solutions that drive Africa’s socio-economic development. With a multidisciplinary background in law, financial inclusion policy, digital communications and project management, Sandra brings a unique set of skills to her role.
Prior to joining the Foundation, Sandra worked as a Grants and Membership Associate at the Africa Venture Philanthropy Alliance, where she cultivated connections within the philanthropy and impact investing ecosystem while contributing to research and resource mobilization efforts. Sandra has also worked as grants consultant, with a keen interest in creative economy fundraising and a project manager at a communications consultancy focusing on social justice publications and multimedia outputs for different NGOs. She is the co-founder of Kipepeo Africa where she co-curates mentorship sessions for children and teens.
Sandra holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from Middlesex University. When she’s not working, you’ll find her practicing yoga, making zines or exploring Nairobi’s vibrant art scene, where she is based.
