Youth Changers Kenya

Venoranda Rebecca Kuboka is a child and adolescent therapist with 13 years of experience in the area of sexual reproductive health and rights, human rights, mental health and advocacy. She is the founder of Youth Changers Kenya (YCK) a community-driven organization that seeks to promote sexual reproductive health rights and address sexual violence among adolescent girls and young women from rural areas. Venoranda has played a key role in International, Regional, National, County processes to lobby and advocate for policy reforms. She has served as a board member with a global organization. She has received many awards among them: best scientist in the area of child and adolescent sexual health, Gender Equality Champion, Top 35 under 35 and individual empowering grassroots women. Venoranda is an alumnus of the YALI East Africa leadership program and an Obama Africa Leader. In 2022, she was ranked 2nd in Africa for being a fearless thinker.
