Asembo Skills for Hope

Grace Ongong’a is the Founder and Executive Director of Asembo Skills for Hope. She started the organization to provide women from her hometown with a path to economic independence. She manages the staff and oversees the strategic direction of the organization. Prior to launching ASH, Grace worked as a High School Teacher of English at Green Hills Academy in Kigali, Rwanda. She brings with her extensive experience in developing educational curriculum and team leadership. Grace holds a bachelor’s degree in English Literature from Mount Kenya University.
